LONDON, UK: Mothercare Plc introduced the proposed appointment of Daniel Le Vesconte because the group’s Chief Executive Officer. Daniel will join the Board within the model new calendar year.
Daniel Le Vesconte brings a wealth of worldwide model expertise in direct to consumer, franchise, wholesale and licensing, having held senior management roles for a number of globally recognised manufacturers together with Abercrombie and Fitch, Hollister and Gilly Hicks (A&F Corp) Dr Martens (Dr Martens PLC), the Wolverine Worldwide group of manufacturers and Vans and Reef (VF Corp).
Commenting on the appointment, Clive Whiley, Chairman said “I am delighted that Dan is becoming a member of Mothercare as our CEO. Dan’s extensive expertise within the retail direct-to-consumer, wholesale and licensing sector will be a nice asset to the team and me as we focus upon restoring critical mass and driving the Mothercare model globally over the subsequent 5 years.”
