Under the 15-year agreement, Stanwell will buy 65% of the generation capability of the 330 MW Mount Hopeful Wind Farm, which will be fully owned by Neoen. Mount Hopeful Wind Farm is found within the ranges southwest of Rockhampton, in Central Queensland.

Construction of the wind farm is scheduled to commence within the second half of 2023, with first generation anticipated in 2026.
