Vodafone announces executive committee changes

LONDON, UK: Vodafone Group Plc has introduced changes to its Group Executive Committee. Aldo Bisio, CEO of Vodafone Italy, will tackle the role of Group Chief Commercial Officer along with his present role efficient 12 January 2023. Aldo has been CEO of Vodafone Italy since January 2014 and is a member of the Group Executive Committee.

Vodafone Spain will join the Europe Cluster efficient 12 January 2023 and report back to Europe Cluster CEO, Serpil Timuray. Colman Deegan, CEO of Vodafone Spain, has determined to step down as CEO efficient 31 March 2023 and can support Margherita Della Valle, Vodafone Group’s CEO on an interim basis, on strategic initiatives from 1 April till 31 July 2023. His successor will be appointed in due course.

Serpil has been CEO of the Europe Cluster since October 2018 and a member of the Group Executive Committee since January 2014. Prior to her present role she was the Group Chief Commercial Operations and Strategy Officer and previously the Regional CEO for AMAP (Africa, Middle East, Asia, Pacific).

Vodafone operates mobile and fixed networks in 21 countries, and companions with mobile networks in forty seven more. As of 30 September 2022, Group had over 300 million mobile customers, greater than 28 million fixed broadband customers, and 22 million TV customers. Vodafone is a world chief within the Internet of Things (IoT), connecting greater than 150 million devices and platforms.
