WANdisco signs $13.2 million deal with a European automotive components supplier

LONDON, UK: WANdisco has signed its second follow-on settlement worth a additional $13.2 million with a big European automotive components supplier.

The mixed Commit-to-Consume contract worth from the three agreements with this Client in 2022 now totals $25.3 million.

Terms were initially signed with this Client to replicate automobile sensor data to the Amazon Web Services (“AWS”) cloud. However, the preliminary data that was to be transferred has once more exceeded preliminary requirements, pushed by a significant buyer win by the Client.

Per the phrases of the earlier follow-on contract, initially introduced as a $5m contract on four July 2022, that subsequently was elevated to $12.1m contract as introduced on four October 2022; and this has now additional elevated to $25.3 million. Half of the aggregated $25.3 million will be paid in advance. As it’s a Commit-to-Consume contract, income will be recognised in step with the Client’s motion of data.
